This week, I had the pleasure of speaking at the GDS Summit, originally planned to take place in beautiful Naples, Florida. Unfortunately, Hurricane Milton had other plans, making it impossible for me to attend in person. Despite the unforeseen circumstances, the incredible GDS team quickly pivoted, ensuring the session could proceed virtually.

While I missed the opportunity to connect face-to-face with the audience, the shift to a virtual format allowed us to adapt and maintain an engaging discussion. During the session, we explored the evolving role of AI in business strategy, the intersection of technology and consumer behavior, and the innovations shaping the future. The questions from attendees were insightful, sparking dynamic conversations that truly underscored the value of shared knowledge and collaboration—even from a distance.
This experience reinforced the importance of adaptability, a theme that resonates strongly with the very principles of AI and innovation we discussed. Challenges, whether in technology or logistics, often lead to opportunities for growth and creative problem-solving.
