This week, Tom Edwards, AI Keynote speaker, had the privilege of serving as a guest lecturer at the University of Texas at Dallas, speaking to data and analytics graduate students about the transformative role of artificial intelligence in today’s industries.

It was an exciting opportunity to share real-world insights on how AI is driving innovation, shaping business strategies, and creating new career opportunities.

During the session, we explored how AI is reshaping industries, from automating operations and enhancing decision-making to redefining customer experiences. We discussed practical applications across key sectors, including consumer products, healthcare, retail, giving students a clear picture of how data and AI intersect to drive measurable impact.

Beyond AI’s technical applications, I also shared career advice, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning, adaptability, and strategic problem-solving in the AI-driven workforce. As AI becomes an integral part of business strategy, professionals with strong analytical skills, business acumen, and ethical awareness will be in high demand.

The engagement and curiosity from the students was fantastic. I found their questions insightful and they had an eagerness to explore AI’s potential to accelerate their careers.
